Photo Galleria is a simple, yet elegant, Wordpress plugin for photographers and designers who want to beautify their Wordpress photo galleries using an elegant jquery script. The Photo Galleria plugin synchronizes Galleria with Wordpress’ built-in media manager. Simply upload photos as normal and the Photo Galleria plugin will create a photo gallery with fade-in and fade-out effects common on flash-based websites. All the transitions happen inline without having to navigate to multiple Wordpress attachment pages. Pretty neat, eh?
Photo Galleria displays the thumbnail images that Wordpress creates for you and displays the original, high resolution uploaded image. Both are constrained proportionally via css. You can control their display size via the two CSS files included with the plugin. By default, the thumbnails display at 125px by 125px square and the image displays at 950px wide. Virtually every aspect of the presentation of Photo Galleria can be controlled via CSS.

Tested with Firefox (Mac & PC), Safari, Internet Explorer 7.
Hey, I’m having the same problem, did anyone figure out how to fix it?
Nope – still hoping someone does.
Is this can integrate with Nextgen Gallery? Its nice if Nextgen Album using this Galleria…..
Thanks
it not works well
I was trying to get this to work on wordpress (2.8.6) on a ‘Page’ (not ‘Post’). The problem was it didn’t always autoload the first large image in the gallery, you had to click the thumbnail to show the first large image. (problem was only in IE6, 7, 8.)
Solution was to use Alexander’s version posted above, and change where he wrote is_single to is_page, now seems to be all good across browsers with galleries on ‘Pages’. (warning this will break it for ‘Posts’ though and maybe other locations, Im not using any posts, just pages).
Hi. I treasured to drop you a quick note to express my thanks. I’ve been observing your blog for a month or so and have plucked up a heap of sound information as well as enjoyed the way you’ve structured your site. I am setting about to run my own blog however I think its too general and I would like to focus more on smaller topics.
Is it possible to have two galleries on the same page?
I cant seem to get it to work, i am displaying 2 posts on a page, both using the galleria plugin. The main image is the same on both, but all the thumbnails are correct.
@ Paul
Did you find a solution for the ‘2 galleries on the same page’ problem?
I have the same problem.
i am having trouble with the wordpress plugin version galleria. the gallery does not display in ie unless you click a thumbnail. how do i fix this. also i am unable to make the thumbnails square.
Great! Looks so neat. Will try it out on one of my sites.
I have been using Galleria WP with success for my purposes. I like using many galleria shortcodes on the same page. I am currently developing this gallery software in conjunction with “add from server”.
The two plug-ins go hand in hand.

Too bad it has invalid markup..
