Where can i get the new functions.php for monochrome pro?

I have installed monochrome pro on a wp 2.8.5, however some plugins don’t work because of jquery version. Theme Monochrome uses 1.2.3 and wordpress uses 1.3.2

In my website I use Google Ajax Translator plugin, but it won’t work because of the difference between jquery (http://wordpress.org/support/topic/324495?replies=3)

Is there a way to work around this issue?

I downloaded the free them of f-8 static, and have just installed WordPress 2.6 … please advise how to fix the functions.php you are talking about.
