It’s no doubt that building WordPress themes is a passion for us here at Graph Paper Press. The only thing we love more is seeing creatives use our themes to showcase their beautiful and inspiring work.
Take for instance Harriet Roberts. Harriet is an England-born, Brooklyn-based photographer who uses our new Expo WordPress theme as a visual portfolio and point of contact. Her photography includes everything from landscapes and cityscapes to concerts, weddings, events and portraits.
Like most photographers, Harriet would rather be out shooting than learning code. She found the Expo theme here at Graph Paper Press and loved the way that it blended elements of a splash page and galleries into one cohesive design.
We asked Harriet a few quick questions and here’s what she had to say:
Why did you choose Expo as your theme?
I find it very photo-centric, clean and easy to navigate. It’s also responsive and very easy to connect to social media.
Why do you love photography? What are you currently working on?
Photography has always fascinated me – the power of a single image, a split second made to last forever. Although my main love is photojournalism, I don’t like to limit myself to one corner of the field; it’s so much more fun to be challenging myself and confronting new people, places and situations on a daily basis.
Currently I’m arranging wedding shoots for the summer and preparing to shoot a video for NYC punks Night Birds. After that I’m planning trips to Europe and Cuba for personal projects.
If you were to recommend us to your best friend, what would you say?
Beautiful, highly customizable templates that don’t look like templates, and one of the best support teams I have ever encountered – seriously.
We appreciate the kind words, Harriet, and thanks for letting us share your work!
