This will always be the most current version of the theme.<\/li>\n<li>Log in to your WordPress dashboard. This can be found at yourdomain.com\/wp-admin<\/li>\n<li>Go to Appearance > Themes and click on the <em>Install Themes<\/em> tab<\/li>\n<li>Click on the <em>Upload<\/em> link<\/li>\n<li>Upload the zip file that you downloaded from your members dashboard and click <em>Install Now<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Click <em>Activate<\/em> to use the theme you just installed.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>[protect]<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/8659583\" width=\"690\" height=\"388\" frameborder=\"0\" webkitAllowFullScreen mozallowfullscreen allowFullScreen><\/iframe>[\/protect]<\/p>\n<h3>Option 2: Upload using FTP (File Transfer Protocol)<\/h3>\n<p>This is our preferred method of installing your theme as it will provide you with complete control and access to your theme files.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Download the zip file from your <a href=\"https:\/\/graphpaperpress.com\/dashboard\/\">members dashboard<\/a>. This will always be the most current version of the theme.<\/li>\n<li>Unzip this file. Do not change the name of the folder by adding extra characters or upper case letters. Also, ensure that there is not a second folder with the same name inside the first folder.<\/li>\n<li>Connect to your site using an FTP program, such as <a href=\"http:\/\/filezilla-project.org\/download.php\">Filezilla<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/addons.mozilla.org\/en-US\/firefox\/addon\/fireftp\/\">FireFTP<\/a>. We do not recommend using Cyberduck as this occasionally causes permissions issues with our themes.<\/li>\n<li>Navigate through your folders to your wp-content\/themes folder.<\/li>\n<li>Upload the theme folder to the themes folder.<\/li>\n<li>Log in to your WordPress dashboard. This can be found at yourdomain.com\/wp-admin<\/li>\n<li>Go to Appearance > Themes and click the <em>Activate<\/em> link for your desired theme.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3>What is an FTP client and how is it used?<\/h3>\n<p>An FTP (File Transfer Protocol) client is a program that allows for the transfer of files between a web server and a computer. Most FTP connections require a hostname, a username, and a password in the following form:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>FTP Host: ftp.example.com<\/li>\n<li>FTP User: user@example.com&nbsp;or&nbsp;user<\/li>\n<li>FTP Password: password<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Host, username, and password values are most often supplied by your web hosting provider. Graph Paper Press recommends <a href=\"http:\/\/filezilla-project.org\/\">FileZilla<\/a>, open-source software distributed free of charge under the terms of the GNU General Public License.
