  1. Hi!

@Thomas … it is working … though, as with any net app, sometimes this works and sometimes it does not …

As in I just loaded your site (very nice) … when I go full screen on one of your panos, it will not let me out of “full screen”, I must quit Safari … not sure if this is a problem with Safari or (?) …

Perhaps it is the ShadowBox plugin your using … I am using the same plugin … though, to my knowledge have never experiences any problems with it …

I am on a MAC running Safari … did not test any of mine out on other OS’s or Web Browsers … so not sure how it looks / works on other platforms, though I know it looks nice on my MAC 🙂

    Regards,

    Mark Jones

  5. Hi!

Somehow my web site hit the WP-Premiums Showcase page … not much to do with my photographic skills (still in an upward, out of control spiral learning curve) , though more with how I set my “travel” site up …

Have a look and if you like have a vote / comment one way or the other:

    http://wp-premiums.com/

Ok, a bit of bragging going on here, but I have found these sites are serious (efforts involved) to set-up … though f8 simplified this effort 10 Fold …

  7. Yep, I’m using the rather beautiful Monochrome Gallery for my kids’ site at http://www.kidography.co.uk

When I get round to it, I’ll be tinkering with the code to determine how it pulls the 5 stories up on the front page. I don’t have 5 categories that change at equal frequency so I’m looking at other options. Any thoughts?

  9. Hi, we’ve turned it up-side-down and created a multi-language page for my parents, who’ve started a “nuts-cooking-business” in France.

Really loved the easy tot adjust theme.. Makes learning php and css much fun 🙂

  11. I’m thinking seriously of replacing my site http://www.davebeckerman.com with one of your themes. Here’s an example:

    http://www.davebeckerman.com/nyc_bw_store/

I downloaded the free copy of monochrome, but couldn’t get the options to show up on the theme page. I did upload the gallery plugin to plugins and that also gave me a 404 error. I’m using what I think is the lastest WP version — now I forget where they give the version but it’s 2.6x

I also think I’m going to need to learn the blueprint idea, because I can’t figure out how to put a simple white border around the main images.

But all-in-all – this is some fantastic stuff you’ve got here.

  13. After spending a long time browsing through literally hundreds of wp-themes, I finally settled on f8-static, which I then modified to my needs. Just love it.

  15. Thad,
I have several websites using WordPress Themes. When beginning a new site about a month ago and “shopping” for a new theme, I was impressed by the Modularity theme and purchased it for the new site. I’ve been using your Modularity theme and think it’s about perfect for my new fun project,
The Official Bad Art Museum of Art, or O.B.A.M.A.
    Check it out here…
    http://officialbadartmuseumofart.com/

I do have a question you could help with. On the Modularity demo site, when clicking the slider thumbs for “Seventh Test Post”, “Sixth Test Post”, “Third Test Post” there’s that great slideshow-like pop-up window feature when clicking the thumbs that I’d love to implement. Could you tell me what I need to do to get that to work for my “Gallery” Page thumbs?

Thanks for the really great theme!
    Sincerely,
    Jo David

  17. Hi Thad!

Thanks for setting up great work – I just launched a site for Daniel Gwirtzman Dance Company, a dance company in NYC:

You can take at the dance company’s site here:
    http://www.gwirtzmandance.org

With WordPress and your themes, I was able to help him get his company up and running again after not having updated his site for over 1 year. Thanks – his company (and myself) really appreciate it.

  19. Thad,
I’ve got Modularity lite up and running my blog and I love it! I’m a large format photographer who sells fine art prints and I’m starting to license a fair number of images for stock purposes. I’ve gotten great reviews from collectors, editors, friends, you name it. The big header image suits my work very well as I tend to specialize in big sweeping landscapes.
    Thanks for a great theme.
    Cheers,

  21. hey folks – i’m about to launch a new site + have made some serious custom modifications to the modularity theme.

in addition to adding rollover functions to the nav.php, we’ve also customized the homepage settings to pull in posts from specific categories for the blog section. we started with a great theme, and a few nice improvements over the initial install, i must say

check out the site in dev here : http://www.issueprojectroom.org/wordpresstest

after it’s launched, it will mover here:

  23. I’m using Modularity Lite for my travel agency blog:

    http://onthewaytravelblog.info

I notice occasionally that the white background stops after the first post, then it appears after a little while (and sometimes disappears again). Is anyone else experiencing that with my site or anyone else’s?

    1. Hi grantday!

Nice work with the website of Darkhorse! Nice photos, too!
I´m about to use “modularity-lite” for my “refreshed” panorama image website. I like the way, you implanted the Next-gen Gallery in the header of the dark-horse´s pages header. I´m wondering, how you did this?
Actually, the regular modularity slide show conflicts with the lightview-plugin. But I don´t wanna give this up, because I like the effect for the flash-panoramas. I already managed to implant “Dynamic headers”-but because I´m not very much a programmer, it takes me hours of “try and error” to get this going… My photography-website though is working quite good. Unfortunately every site is German – who wonders… People around me are all talking german ;-).

  25. I’m thoroughly enjoying the Modularity Lite them on my blog at http://www.allurewest.com/blog

I’ve had a great response so far.

Just one question–is there a way to control how the thumbnail image shows? I read in the INSTALL.html file that the last image propagates the thumbnail, however my posts include a template that I create with several images.

  27. Hi!
I´m using modularity-lite for my new panorama-images website. Including interaktive 360 degree panoramas. I like the straight layout and the possibility to change the look at least a little bit. It´s only german, sorry! 😉 Thanks a lot!
